M&TT Stainless Steel Wedge Rudder - Polished
Stainless Steel V-drive wedge style rudder. These are TIG welded and smoothed and the polished to a mirror finish. Rudder neck is 1-1/8" diameter and 15" in length. Wedge rudders are best utilized 21' and shorter (and fast) hulls. This design is not intended for use on larger 24-foot and larger Day Cruiser style hulls. This rudder is made to order and will require approximately 4 weeks for manufacturing and polishing. Keep reading below for more information...
This High Speed Wedge Rudder is designed for performance V-drive boats. It features stainless steel construction, TIG welds that are blended smooth and a polished finish. Wedge Rudders do not always provide enough steering authority at slow speeds when installed on larger and heavier boats.
